We are not part of the NHS. We are a private practice that has been established for over 35 years.

Yes we do. Examinations for under 6 is free, and starts at £9 for 6 and above. Any treatment will be charged at half the adult price.

Our initial consultations are free of charge. However, we ask for a £20 holding fee which will be refunded once you have attended your consultation.

At this visit you can discuss your dental treatment needs and concerns in a relaxed environment with Sarah, our professional and friendly treatment coordinator. Sarah will try and answer any questions you may have before you decide how you wish to proceed.

No advice to definitive dental treatment can be given at this visit, as no dental examination is carried out at this visit.

At your consultation your chosen dentist will discuss your treatment plan with you.

Following your initial consultation, we offer you an all-inclusive treatment price. For peace of mind, this covers all of your treatment costs, including aftercare, so that you don’t have to worry about unexpected bills. It’s our Promise to you.

You cannot book to just see our Hygienists. To have an appointment, you need to have been referred by one of our dentists.

You can rearrange your appointment by calling the practice where we will find a more suitable time. As long as you give us more than 48 hours notice, you will not be charged.

- Facial swelling that is getting worse rapidly
- Injury (trauma) to your mouth, gums, or teeth
- Bleeding from a tooth socket after an extraction
- A continuous toothache

During opening hours, if you need emergency treatment please telephone 0121 588 4541. We will make an appointment for you to see a dentist as soon as possible. We have time allocated for emergencies every day.

It is our policy to charge for failing to attend reserved, booked and confirmed dental & hygiene appointments. This also applies for late cancellations (less than 48 hours notice).

We take very special care with patients that are nervous about any dental treatment and you’ll be reassured to hear that all our treatments are carried out painlessly.

We have on-site parking at our practice which is free to use for all our patients.

Up to 18 months is interest free. If you would like to take finance over a longer period then an interest charge will apply.

No deposit is required, but there is the option to if you so wish.

Like many responsible lenders, our finance takes into consideration your personal circumstances, previous account conduct and credit history. We will talk through your options during your consultation.

You will be able to ask about our finance options during your consultation where we will answer any queries you may have and get you started in the application process if you would like to proceed.

If you wish to spread the payments over a period longer than 18 months (maximum up to 5 years), interest bearing credit* applies. Please speak with your dentist or Sarah Dangerfield, the business manager.

Once you have been to the practice for your comprehensive dental examination you can then become a member. Simply get in touch and we will be happy to help you become an exclusive member of our practice.

We can permanently replace your missing tooth/teeth with dental implants. A dental implant is an ideal, fixed solution to gaps in your smile.

The titanium screws are placed into the jaw bone to replace single or multiple teeth. A crown, bridge or denture can be fitted to implants to act like a natural tooth. That’s why they’re a superior solution to regular dentures.

How long fixed brace treatment will take can depend on the following:

How crooked the teeth are. The more complicated the problem, the longer the treatment is likely to take; for example: teeth that have failed to grow into the mouth properly can take up to two years to straighten.

The type of brace. Fixed brace treatment on average will take up to 18 months compared with a removable brace treatment, which typically takes from 6-9 months.

Care of the appliance. Repeated breakages and poor cleaning of the brace will significantly delay treatment time.

As we offer a range of different teeth straightening treatments, there will be a solution to suit you.
Our dentists offer a no obligation consultation to make sure you are provided with the best possible treatment, to discuss the results that you would like and what is achievable.

The fitting of the brace is not painful. You may experience a degree of discomfort, from both the teeth and inside of the cheeks for a few days following the initial placement of the brace and subsequent adjustments.

Once the brace (fixed or removable) has been fitted, visits to the orthodontist at 4-6 week intervals will be needed in order to monitor progress and have the brace adjusted. It is very important to continue regular dental health checks with a dentist to ensure that the teeth and gums remain in the very best condition throughout the treatment.

It is essential to ensure that both the teeth and the brace are kept as clean as possible. The orthodontist, dentist or hygienist will advise about the use of any special toothpastes, brushes or mouth rinses to help keep your mouth as healthy as possible during your orthodontic treatment.

The Invisalign aligner system straightens your teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner approximately every week, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.

Gums bleed when they are irritated and inflamed which is not considered normal. This is due to plaque (a soft film of bacteria) being left on the teeth which causes inflammation called gingivitis and if not addressed can develop into gum disease.

There are two different types of gum disease – gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis is the early stage and with developing a good oral hygiene routine, can be reversed. However, if it is left untreated, it turns into periodontitis which is a more serious condition. Periodontitis can be managed to stop it from getting worse.

Conscientious removal of plaque by flossing, brushing and regular professional cleaning will minimise your risk of gum disease.
